Sage AI: Dashboard, events, knowledge base

It's starting to take shape. We have a dashboard, we're collecting some metrics, and I'm getting a daily briefing every morning. Also, I have an event log where all the events are going into (the spine of the system), and there's a knowledge base which consists of a GitHub repository which is vectorized and indexed. Its first use is adding context to Herald, the agent that sends me the morning briefing.

These days I'm focusing on shaping the specs for the next part of the system, which includes:

  • events from Monitive's usage (user signed up, created monitor, incident triggered etc.);
  • emails to and from customers; this means a minimal CRM structure inside Sage;
  • events from other systems (Stripe, Bugsnag, Graylog, GitHub)

All these are going to support the Monitive team in cultivating healthy relationships with the 42 customers that we have, and, while making them ecstatic about our service, perhaps acquire more customers.

Honesty

Since honesty is one of my personal values, and transparency is one of Monitive's values, I'm going to be very open about our figures, stats, processes, findings and lessons. I do hope that this will help someone in their adventures.
